Welcome to the ESRC Data Store

ESRC Data Store (formerly UKDA-store) is an online archiving system for research data and outputs generated by ESRC research awards. It facilitates the sharing of data and outputs with the academic community. Deposited data are stored in a permanent and sustainable manner by the UK Data Archive.

ESRC Data Store holds data-related resources primarily across the social sciences and humanities. Currently only ESRC-funded researchers can contribute projects and data to ESRC Data Store.

ESRC-funded researchers who are registered can:

• upload a range of digital objects to the repository including statistical data, databases, word documents, audio-visual materials
• assign permissions to individuals and/or groups to enable access to the materials in the repository
• publish uploaded data and documentation for re-use by the academic community

Once you have registered for a ESRC Data Store account you will be able to contribute materials.

All other users can:

• search and browse all research data and outputs in ESRC Data Store
• preview and download data which has been published in ESRC Data Store
• request access to data and documentation which are closed (requires registration)
